Our Education and Workforce Development Team has created a network of government resources, business leaders and education experts who work together to ensure that our local workforce has access to the training and education they need to meet the needs of area businesses today—and tomorrow.

Georgia QuickStart Program

  • Provides customized workforce training for Georgia’s new and existing businesses
  • Free of charge to qualified Georgia businesses
  • Classroom, mobile labs or on-site

AIDT Program

  • Provides customized workforce training for Alabama’s new and existing businesses
  • Free of charge to qualified Alabama businesses
  • Classroom, mobile labs or on site

Intellectual Capital Partnership Program (ICAPP)

  • First in the nation
  • Partnership between ICAPP and the University System of Georgia
  • Created a cutting edge training program on the Columbus State University campus
  • $8,000 in training costs saved per employee who participated in program
